Vodafone to discontinue the fantastic WM smartphone, the HTC HD2 HomeThis is a featured page

HTC's beautiful Windows Mobile smartphone, the HD2, may no longer be sold by Vodafone if current stories are to be believed.

This mobile has only been around for a few weeks and a company spokesman let us know that their first delivery of the HD2 sold out quickly, but reports now suggest that the company is already plotting its removal from its high-end line up.

company insiders believe that The company will be halting the sale of the smartphone in within weeks as a new range of smartphones, most prominantly the iPhone, will become top products in its montly deals.

The Vodafone spokesman went on to say that The company would be stocking the broadest range of handsets possible to customers over the coming few months, which suggests that the release of the iPhone will result in the HD2's place being filled by the really wanted Apple device.

The HTC smartphone has received a great reception from the media thanks largely to its huge multi-touch sensitive LCD screen and wafer-thin design.
